I own a 2024 Keystone Passport 3300BK. I have a hardwired TV that is supposedly to control the sound system outside as well. It is a Connex TV? The remote has a separate section for “Zone 2” entertainment system but it does nothing when I try it. The dealership played with it for an hour and looked up stuff online to no avail. They claim the entire TV has to be replaced but the TV itself works fine. It does have an FM input that seems to do nothing but other than that it works. Anyone have this issue or know a trick to fix this? The JBL speakers are outside and do not have their own “power” buttons on them.

Your TV probably does not support any "remote speaker operation"...

Do you have a separate sound bar or separate radio???

On all the Keystone "factory exterior speakers" that I've seen, none are powered by the television. They're either powered by a radio/CD/DVD player unit or by a sound bar.

How is your trailer set up? Do you have "only the television? or a sound bar under the TV or a radio/DVD player mounted in a cabinet or wall ???

I am not really sure what you are trying to accomplish. Are you trying to have the TV sound go to the outside speakers?

On any RV system I have had, the stereo controls everything. Admittedly, I am not familiar with the Connex TV brand (our Passport and our Cougar both came with Vizio televisions). Generally the TV is a TV and accepts inputs from the stereo but doesn’t support output to the stereo. Maybe that’s different with a Connex brand?

Anyway if you are looking for better sound from your TV, pickup a soundbar.

Have you looked at this video:

This guy goes through how to operate the various functions of the TV including the radio and zone speakers....all in the tv.

If you switch the speakers to the proper zone and they don't work you need to first verify that the tv speaker outputs are indeed wired correctly. After that you need to pull a speaker and see what they are wired to vs what is leaving the back of the tv.

On my 2024 bullet it has the optical out cable( I believe it's blue) that runs from the optical port on the TV and out to the external speakers. Then on the lower left of the remote it has speaker functions. Click the "on" button and it will say zone B on or off, and you control the volume for the outside speakers right in that same area of the remote. Maybe it's not plugged in or it's in the wrong port on the TV .
