Have a 25RDS and I’m hooked to shore power. Has been functioning normal with all systems working. I just check my batteries today and they have both dropped 70% since last night when they were at 100%. Appears the converter is not sending charge to batteries and the 12V systems are pulling power from batteries and not being recharged. Parked In trees so minimum solar.
I checked breakers I panel and converter is not tripped.

Any thoughts ???
Also can I hook up external battery charger to recharge while connected to the system??

First thing I would check would be your battery disconnect. Make sure that it has not been moved or turned to off or disconnected. You didn’t mention what type of batteries you have. If lead acid or AGM, you would see a normal loss over time if not being charged/maintained. If you disconnect from shore power do you still have 12 volt lights and appliances? If so, the disconnect is probably not the problem. I would start there then start tracing voltages with a meter from the back of the converter to the panel and from the battery toward the panel as my next steps.

So you’ve checked the breaker if you have access to the converter it would help to know if the unit is actually on. It may have a series of lights that’ll indicate charging or not charging. Yellow will Indicate it’s not charging but in a standby mode. Regardless, there’s a fuse in the unit pull it and put it back if it’s good replace it it’s not it’ll essentially hard boot the unit.

Battery disconnect is in on position. 12v lights and fridge operating I have two 100 ah lithium batteries. All systems operating just discharging batteries. Converter not charging. Shunt not reflecting charge going into battery either. Just the discharge

Yes converter is behind the panel. Do the 12 v appliances work when not on shore power? If so looking at the converter and its fuses and output seem likely.

Yes If I unplug all 12VDC works off batteries. Problem is when plugged in, batteries continue to power systems and not charge. Meaning it appears the converter is not putting out power to batteries to charge them and support Rv 12VDC systems.

What fuses should I look at ? The crossed connection fuse ???? I’m certain that a crossed connection didnt occurred. It was charging batteries Wednesday but now not And I’m camping and have not touched the batteries or any other components

Tht narrows it down a lot. If the dc panel is supplying power from batteries. The likely problem is the converter or converter to the panel connection. I would follow the previous advice and check the fuses in the converter starting with the DC output from the converter which you will find behind or attached to your panel or behind your panel

While you're checking fuses and converter operation, the correct way to determine if the converter output is correct is to first, make sure the converter/charger is turned on and operating on 120VAC. Then fully disconnect BOTH battery cables at the battery/batteries, then measure the output "from the converter to the battery cables" using a voltmeter. The voltmeter should read 13.6VDC for FLA/AGM battery setting and 14.6 for Li batteries.

If the reading is not within specs, then the converter is not operating properly. In your 2024 trailer, you may still be in warranty. WFCO's warranty is for 2 years. You can access all the support documentation for any WFCO product at their website: WFCO Technologies - Innovating the Future of RV Power or use the "contact us information" located at Contact the WFCO Team – WFCO Technologies to call, email or contact them through the website.

Thank you for the great info. During my troubleshooting and calls to Keystone I performed multiple test and determined it is not putting out voltage. Less than a volt at the batteries, at the distribution panel and at the converter itself. I treated all points with battery disconnected. Also while plugged into shore power with battery disconnect on, I have 12VDC and lights and fridge work. Turn off disconnect and everything goes off. Converter supplying no power. I will order one and replace. In the mean time for balance of this 3 week trip I’m using an external Li battery charger to replenish battery as required. I have unplugged the converter from back of panel.
The unit is under initial warranty still and will seek reimbursement from keystone as CS instructed.
Thanks for all the great info !

You should consider a different converter that can be set to lithium charging as opposed to relying on the auto-detect feature of the OEM converter. I had mine updated by WFCO at 6 months old and it now charges lithium like it is supposed to.

That is the same model I have. I discovered that there is an issue with SolarFlex impacting the ability of the auto detect to reliably sense lithium batteries. I worked directly with WFCO and they graciously agreed to send me a return label and upgraded my firmware from v1.19 to v1.21. They also added a plug-in jumper to force it to charge only using the lithium profile. All done under warranty.

If not for their willingness to work with me, I would have bought a Progressive Dynamics unit with a manual switch to change charging profiles. I am not a fan of the auto detect feature, although most people might never pay close enough attention to know it is flawed (or even care).

I called them Friday but it was later in the day. I’ll reach out again tomorrow. I see they now have a 9855-LiS model with either a jumper or you can add a remote switch. I would just like to get this model and put the jumper on. I’ll never use any battery other than Li. My Trailer is still under the original manufacture warranty so I’ll have to deal with Keystone to have them reimburse me for the replacement.

Still on the road chugging away with using the Li external battery charger.

Works but…. Want rig to function as intended !!!

13 days into 23 day trip !!😎

As long as your able to continue your trip, I would wait and deal with it after.

Agree. But two weeks later I start another trip for 2 weeks. Then 3 weeks later start 45 day trip. I’ll get it all figured out!! With the help of all!!!

Thanks millions !!! Ya’ll rock !!
