Why isn’t the slide out track/rail a recall.
Ours stripped and we paid $500 for someone to came out and work on it at a campground because it stripped and wouldn’t open. We have to pay more money to have the upper and lower track replaced. Keystone should pay for the repairs since it hasn’t been used a lot!

Lots more information would be needed before making any assessment about your trailer, the damage done, whether it's a "recall" or even whether you're the first owner, a second/subsequent owner, how long you've had the trailer, whether the 3 year structural warranty had expired, who repaired it, what other work now needs to be done, if Keystone was ever notified of the problem and your repairs, what they said, what the dealer reported to Keystone, if the repairs were done by a Keystone authorized repairman, if the repairs were authorized by Keystone or if, while doing the repairs, your person who came out to the campground might have done improper repairs which caused more damage...

I'm not suggesting that your question about a recall should or should not be addressed by Keystone, I'm just saying that the VERY LIMITED information you've provided is nowhere near enough information to make any type of conclusion...

If your slide has the schwintec mechanism, look at the “V” tag on the column. If it’s an “inverted” rack and falls within a certain time period, LCI will replace it under a TSB.
