Bought both new first of 2023 for Susan to be able to ride the paved trails in FL. Got to ride them about 30 miles each and she hurt her back. She can't ride them again per the neurosurgeon that repaired her back. They were removed from the RV in March '23 in Husky Totes where they traveled home. They went straight to the barn, were covered/sealed and haven't been removed. The batteries are in the house and maintained. Both are pristine and basically new.

They have lights, 3 power levels and are really fun to ride. I have 2 new hydraulic brake upgrade kits for them sitting in the hallway still boxed. They have saddle bags, bike locks and a 2 bike cover that works great - all goes including the totes and a very heavy Kryptonite chain I used to secure them to the landing gear on the trailer.

This requires a picture attachment - I don't take a lot of pictures of stuff I own. I am attaching one pic Susan took. As I mentioned the bikes are packed and sealed and I'm not going to unseal them in this sandy weather. If anyone is serious I will go to the trouble but for pics the Lectric E bike site has pictures that are exactly what I have (without the saddle bags). One unit is white, one is black. The pic is of Susan's white bike.
Sorry to hear that your wife cannot ride anymore. :( These are great bikes! We purchased 2 of the OG ones when they first came out, I got a regular one, my wife got the step thru (I have to be different). I have since added more comfortable seats, and the shock absorbing style seat posts. Hydraulic brakes are a nice upgrade. I haven't done that yet. For those that don't ride due to knee or stamina issues, these bikes make riding bikes fun again.

Yes they are fun. She had wanted something to ride those trails for years and I just drug my feet. Couldn't ride a regular bike due to all the knee surgeries but finally broke down on these. Then on that trip we tried to get the spare out from under the trailer and she pulled her back severely. Then came home and found her spine was really messed up then we got the surgery. A crazy scenario, but they were more fun than I anticipated and the grin on her face was worth every cent spent.

Ugh, that just plain sucks. But better to be safe with the repaired spine than not. My mom has had multiple back surgerys, and should have been one, but doing too much too soon and falling is never good.

As for the bikes, I agree. We didn't expect them to be as much fun either. My wife has foot and knee issues, but the bikes basically make those a non issue. Some friends we camp with also got them when we did, and we all got these helmets that sync up so you can talk to each other while riding. We ride them around town, i've ridden mine to work and back, we toss them in the truck to take to local trails. etc.

That is a great price for those bikes; shouldn't be on the market for long. Not a fan of riding bicycles with "radio" helmets around traffic=distracting. Please be very careful, you're at the mercy of every vehicle near you and many are texting/talking. Love our cruising ebikes and recently bought two moutain ebikes and got back into single track riding.

Actually the helmets we have that allow you the ability to talk to one another, are the opposite of distracting and they allow you to communicate with those in your group about safety. We are constantly using them to call out other riders approaching, things in your way that could cause a fall or accident, or other vehicles. Especially important as we all don't ride at the same speed, but still within enough distance to communicate. They allow you to not have to turn your head away to try and yell out, or to try and hear someone else calling out.

For the most part though we stick to trails and paths where there are no cars. Occasionally you venture off or have to take a roadway, but we try and avoid that, makes my wife nervous.
