New truck and trying to get the 5er level. Had to take it out for a test run as nothing around the house is level.
After a lot of sweat I found I could have moved the pin up one more hole. I steal have a little over 8" of clearance on the bed rails and the camper is still nose high.

Here's our 2015 Silverado. Just traded a couple weeks ago. Equipped about the same as the 2011 except for more electronic gadgetry.

I was out practicing the driving and backing into spots this weekend with our new setup.

The Truck is a 2004 Silverado 1500 Crew Cab 4x4, with the 5.3L V8 Vortec engine in it. Has almost 124k miles on it and still running very well.

Towing our new Passport 217exp that we just picked up. We leave Thursday this week for our first trip out in it beyond our "Camp Driveway" test run.

Link to Photo if the above doesn't show up....

2015 F350 CrewCab 6.7 Powerstroke. 2012 Springdale 260 SRT.

The Tundra did a fine job but the 6.7 gets better milage by a long shot

We will be upgrading to a 5er soon once the DW makes up "our" mind on the floor plan

What's the weight on your cougar? Which engine and transmission combo do you have in your 1500? Do you have any issues with hills? Thanks.
