Pickup(5/25/12) and Shakedown

Picked up our BP 19FBPR Friday 5/25/12. During the PDI, I only noticed minor trim issues. The laminate was peeling off on some trim pieces. I took pictures, noted to the dealership, and glued them myself.

Our SD cruise was saturday night, at a campround near our house. Went well and everything worked! I returned home with a list of more things I need. No complaints on TT's performance, systems, etc. Couldn't get the cable to work initially, but a quick visit to this forum solved that. The Jensen manual says to select cable from the source list, but it isn't an option on my TV.All is well, hope to remain a happy camper!

1 quick question for those who may know. Do you leave the carousel in the microwave? I have thus far, but it seems like it may bounce around to much.

Glad to hear that your initial outing was generally successful. Some people stuff a pillow in the micro to prevent the carousel from bouncing about.

I have always left it in place. I have never noticed it dislodged or displaced when I go to use the microwave after traveling. I think it will be fine!

Depending on where your microwave is located (front/center/rear) some bumps may bounce the carousel.
Wrap the glass tray in a bath towel, or use some of the rubberized shelf liner. A decorator sofa pillow,
or bed pillow, stuffed inside the micro during travel, works well too.

Thanks for the responses. It sits above the axels. So I'll use some pillows or towels

My dw uses it as stowage for soft goods. Bread, chips rolls, etc. it seems to hold down the glass plate.

I always leave the carousel in the microwave. It’s right over the axles, but it does get dislodged every time. I should find a safe place for it, but then I’ll never remember to move it.

I do this also. I buy all the groceries when we camp, so this is storage for me. I really never thought about the plate bouncing around???

Lots of great ideas. I really like the bread chips idea. I'll give that a shot!

Thats what we do. Pack it full of cereal boxes and baked goods. A couple boxes of cereal topped with muffins, bagels and bread fill the box and have worked so far.
