17.5" wheels and tires
I just purchased a 2014 Raptor 300mp and I want to put wheels and tires on it that will alleviate any worries as far as blowouts and load range issues. So, I've come across 17.5" commercial wheels and tires and they are expensive but honestly I believe worth it if it will take any concern out of my mind and they should last a long time.
My concern is about the stiffness. I know the wheels and tires will be well over what the axles are rated at. I have looked at a wheel with a Sailun tire and they're a little bit cheaper but they're only rated at 62mph. While I'm not going to be setting land speed records while towing the fifth wheel, I would like to have a speed rating over 70mph to accommodate for some extra room. My estimate is 65-70 mph.
So my question is would anyone else be concerned with the sidewall stiffness? In your opinion, would the ultra stiff sidewall tires cause frame issues or issues with anything else?

What size Sailun tires are you looking at? The one's I've seen are L rated (75 m.p.h.)

The Sailun truck or trailer tires both have a speed rating of 75 MPH. Here are a couple of examples.

This is the one I was looking at. Of course, I can't find it now but I found that it was 62mph speed rating.

-EDIT---I see them now, they're under "regional All Position" not "HD Trailer"
Also, looks like I was wrong about the speed rating on them!

These are the other alternative, or maybe why I am looking for opinions on how the super load range tires/ wheels would affect the structure or not.

What are everyone's thoughts about using either one of these?

Do you have 1/2" or 9/16" lug bolts?

Not 100% sure as of now. I'll pull one and measure it up, but I'm thinking 9/16"

Anyone else with feedback as to if the 17.5” or 19.5” wheel/ tire combo will be to stiff for my fifth wheel?

They are 1/2”-20
Looks like that will limit my choices.
