Slide cables

How often do you grease the slide out cables and what type of grease or lubricant do you use? Thanks

When I had a trailer with slides I used 3-IN-ONE RVcare Slide-Out Silicone Lube

when I took the trailer out of storage, a couple of times during the season, and before I put the trailer in storage for the winter.

It was recommended that we use "Dry Lube" spray. It minimizes the oily residue that attracts dirt. Several brands available at the local big box hardware store. I use it on the cables as well as the chain.
