Fridge issue

We just did our first shake down and found that our Dometic fridge model RM 2351 did not work on either auto or gas. On auto the check light kept flashing...same thing on gas. Any thoughts?

just a few dumb questions just in case:

1. are you connected to AC to test the fridge on electricity vs LP?
2. is the gas open? if so did it run long enough to get to the fridge? Does the water heater light? The stove?
3. is the fridge plugged into AC behind the exterior access panel? Did you check the breaker?
4. Can you run an extension cord from the fridge to another AC source?

You may have already thought of all of these...just tossing out ideas

If the "check light" is flashing then we need to check the condition of the battery(s). Dometic refers will operate at lower than 12VDC but not a lot lower. Check the voltage AT THE REFER. You can do that by removing the lower access panel and look for the 12V wires, they will be attached at a plastic connection with screws that hold the wire. If you have 12V then its time start tracing the wire. The positive wire will go through a couple of "safety's" before it will start cooling. Check for voltage and post back for further instructions.
