So what's the best options? Air bags? larger tires? New shocks?

Adjust your air pressures to the recommended psi for your actual scaled tire loads plus 25 to 30%.
If I run at 65 psi as stated on the door pillar decal, our F250 bounces like a pogo stick!
Without TT, 55 psi all around. With TT, 55 psi front, 60 psi rear works for our gasser and 18 inch LTs.

Obviously, the situation dictates what needs to happen. All of the options listed above come into play in various situations; without clear specifics on a given situation the above questions don't mean anything.

I’m just hoping no one cuts him off. Applying any sort of brake could be dangerous....

He needs a WDSS (Weight Distributing Side Stakes) upgrade badly.
