Backup Camera Install

Trying to install wireless backup camera and while looking in the rear storage compartment I found a black cover with a lot of wires under it.

If like to wire this camera up to my running lights and I'm unsure which wire to tap into.

Either pull one of the light lenses off or take the mounting screws out of the light & see what color the wires are on the back of the light. PLEASE don't go stabbing holes in wires indiscriminately.

This is what I would do.

I agree .use a test light while having someone turn on n off parking lights. You may also check the pigtail connection for the correct color. I know the green and white are 12volts as I've connected several additional lights to the closet

Personally I think I'd wire one into a hot wire and install an additional fuse inline so the camera would work without having to have my lights on.

Not a bad idea. I might have time in a about a week or so to fool with it. I'll keep everyone up to date. Thank you
