What kind of boat???
I went from a 40' sailboat to my new Sprinter 297RET and F150 8200 GVW. What a major come down in quality; all that high end teak joinery to paper paneling and plastic. However, the TT doesn't weigh 24,000 lbs either.
My problem is a degenerative nerve problem in my hip, where I've became unstable on deck. The stairs and bunks were also a real problems. So, I sold it... Do I have regrets? You bet I do, but that's life. Am I enjoying the new rig, lifestyle and handicap plates? Yes, but after 40 years sailing...
