Replacement hot water heating element

I have a Suburban SW6DEL hot water heater. The electric heating element went and I need a replacement. I picked up a Richmond element at the local HW store. It's a 120v, and will work in hot water heaters from 6 to 30 gallons. I'm assuming that it'll work for my unit, but I thought that I would ask before taking it out of the package only to find out that it won't.

Any thoughts?

How many watts? 1400 is standard IIRC. two screw connections at the end? If so your good to go.

Hardest part of changing the element is the socket used. 1 1/2" IIRC (again) and it needs to be thin wall to fit past the shielding. I got mine from Auto Zone.

No, 2000 watts. Grrrr......

That's why I asked. At least I can return it and now I know what to look for.
