Slide out manual operation

We are purchasing a used keystone cougar 327 res. Wondering how to manually retract the slide out rooms if the motor fails or in the event of a power failure.

If it is a mechanical slide, it is most likely a Lippert. www.lci1.com
They will have all the info. or search the Keystone site for owners manuals.

Our trailer came with a long bit you connect to a drill incase of loss of power.
It was in the pack that held all the manuals for the appliances / TV's etc.

You probably have cable and gear driven slides. The cable ones are retracted with a flex bit and a drill from the inside of the slide, and the gear driven ones are retracted from out side under the coach. Access should be through the coroplast under belly. Should be a cover you can see underneath which will give you access to the nut.
