Good advise, will give it a shot before i need it... If it doesn't work, i have a new one for the garden wagon and bicycles or inflating ballons..

Phones often don't pass the correct orientation for the pictures. It is very frustrating. Most have come to accept it and not bother to fix it when posting.

Well this is my compressor solution!
Nothing to pack around or find space for the compressor, it is always with the TV right there under the hood!!! This is part of the PacBrake install kit, have thought of getting one that has a higher volume.

I bought a 150 PSI Porter Cable 1 1/2 gallon compressor. The low volume would be a problem for paint guns and framing nailers but not for topping to 80# on the truck and trailer tires. Not into 12 volt with two 110 receptacles in the truck.

CaptJohn, have you actually plugged anything into one of the 110V receptacles? The wattage on that Cable would not be compatible with the Ford.

Well I have currently a 1.5 gal. air tank soon to be 2.5 Gal. I have nothing to get out except an air hose and chuck! 150psi available. one less thing to find a place to put!

Tried out the compressor on the TT tires yesterday and the compressor worked better than i expected. One tire was down to 38# and <4 minutes it had it up to 65PSI!! Besides the "new eletronic deal" smell, it never got hot after filling both tires..This is on 120V btw.

Great! The ones I've used were always in the boonies on 12vdc. That might be the difference, or, the newer ones are just better. Either way, it's working for you so great.

I had a blowout last weekend. The truck spare was at 60 lbs. I used my little Lowes (Kobalt) dual voltage compressor to get it to 80 lbs. Took half an hour. So, I am looking for a better solution.
