Sorry it took so long. Basically I had two 1/2" pieces of scrap channel laying around. Had to trim a 1/4" to get them to fit in the tray. Used some stainless steel carriage bolts and nuts. I was going to add a second piece to support the other edge of the tank, but when I fasten the tank strap, it holds it against the wall and the bottom of the tank is up. I can then reach under and place the sender on the tank bottom.

We have the monitor for 2 tanks. We are using 2 30# tanks. Even though the unit is calibrated for 20# tanks, it works great. After the first 10#s is used, the monitor starts reading usage. ( it shows full till then). We just refilled our tanks when the monitor light was on the first green light above the amber light. We had used 4.5 gallon of the 7 gallons in the tank when full. We had 2.5 gallons remaining. Love having the monitors!
