Television

Hello!

I feel like an idiot asking this question in the first place, but.....I have a 2015 Hideout 28BHS with included 32' television. I can see that the television is designed (at least I think it is) to swivel over to the bedroom side of the trailer. There is a mirror on the opposite side. I just can't figure out how to get it to swivel? Any info would be appreciated.

On our Springdale, the TV was held in place with a "spring/ball detent". You just had to push hard enough on one side of the TV (and pull on the other) to get the ball to unlock and the TV would swivel.

That's good to know, I'll try it. The space between the TV and edge of opening is sooo tight that I cant even get my fingers in there and I didn't want to put any torque on the TV for fear of busting it up. Their cheap as it is and afraid to crack the glass or something. I guess time for me to get creative!

Thanks!

JRTJH!

Thanks you were right! mine was too. Mine was a little stiff since never used and I see it only turns one way, which is good. Thanks for the confidence boost and encouraging me to giving it a whirl!

I'm glad it worked for you Now you can watch TV instead of having to look in the mirror all the time while trying to sleep ROFL

Ours was the same, I never could remember which side to push to get it to rotate. Always chose wrong. But once turned I hated the level the tv was at. Too low for laying in bed unless you propped up. I was thinking about putting a mount above the opening on the BR side and just mount a tv there and not rotate it anymore.
