Outside shower

We have a Laredo 29ft travel trailer and it has an outside shower on the same side as the water connections. Does the shower run off the city water or do we need to connect the water hose to the inlet right next to the shower? We plan on using this in Feb. when we camp at Tomoka State Park in Ormond Beach Fl while we got to the Nascar Races.

thanks

Generally the outside shower is plumbed into the trailer water system and will run from either city water hookup or from the fresh water tank via the water pump.

The garden hose inlet "right next to the shower" is probably the black tank flush (assuming the actual fresh water inlet is elsewhere).

What color is the hose connector? Often times the fresh water is white and the black tank rinse is black and will have a decal above/below telling you that the drain valve must be open.

The connection is white. About 5 feet away are the fresh water connections and the city water connections.

Sounds like the black tank rinser as John said. Outside shower is plumbed into the trailer plumbing, so either hooked up to city source or running the water pump with the fresh tank will provide shower water.

FRANANDTOMMY, Howdy;

One way to check is to start with a empty black tank, hook up a non-drinking
water hose to the fixture in question and open the black tank (remember
I said it should be empty first), dump valve then turn the water on,
see if any water starts to come out of the black tank drain .. if so,
then you know.

hankaye

Ps. I'd put a bucket or something under the dump valve opening
to catch any leftovers from your last dump that might decide to follow
the law of gravity.
