Has anyone modified the kitchen valve plumbing so that it is plumbed with the black water/gray water? The kitchen valve location under the main slide is a real pain and for the life of me I cannot understand why Keystone would put it in such an inconvenient location. I hope this makes sense. Thanks.

famoussenior, Howdy;

Bestess I can figure is they(designers), figure you will have the slide in as
you are leaving and that when you'll want to drain the danged thing.

One thing you can do is go to an RV store and buy a awning rod (or take a piece of 1/2" PVC pipe and a couple of ZIP ties and make a pull/push rod) Then you can stand beside your slide, reach under it with the rod, slip the ZIP tie (or the ring on the end of the awning rod) over the valve handle and pull it to dump. Do the same to push it back in when finished.

It's not an "ideal situation" but it'll keep you out from under the slide for almost all "while you're set up" dumping of the kitchen tank.

Some people simply leave that valve open and put a CAMCO endcap valve on the main sewer outlet. Either way is a workaround that usually make things easier.

Good Luck
