New Keystone Laredo 303TG owner

We've been camping with pop-ups for a number of years but decided to switch to a hard-side camper for next season. After a lot of online research and checking out several brands and models, we settled on the Laredo 303TG as the best fit for the features we were looking for. We really like the idea of an outdoor kitchen as we prefer to cook outdoors whenever possible while camping. We also like the slide-out bunkhouse which gives the kids their own space in the evenings or when it's raining. We will be pulling with a 2008 F-250 diesel. Looking forward to our first trip next spring.

I see you have the "New" front Cap. My wife and I are about to buy a 2011 Laredo. Still tossed up on the 291TG or the 303TG. Do any of you know when they started doing the new front cap? I see two diffrent styles online. We would really like the "New" front cap. We are placing an order for the camper from RVDIRECT. And we're not realy sure which front cap to expect.

HI guys new to the forum and to the camping world cnpmumma I ordered the 303tg back in September not knowing anything about the new front and just last week got a call from camping world telling me my camper was in and they emailed me pics: and it has the new front cap on it looks awesome can't wait till spring to come. here are some pics.

Ours is on order. We were told 8-11 weeks. Hopefully it does not go beyond the first week of May. I am in anticipation of it all, and wondering if there will be any changes to what we've looked at with the "new cap" design; and what ours will look like. I've seen some changes in the bath wall liners depending on when the unit was shipped across several sites online. One thing I'm curious about is if it has an outside shower? I forgot to look. It seems all the connections are outside the road-side of the master bedroom. I wish I could see some pics of the road-side of the camper, so I can see all the utility hooks, etc... Also, is it innapropriate to ask what people have been paying for their NEW 303TG's? I would like to know if I got a great deal...

OK what did you pay for the 303tg and did you get any options with it.

In the spirit of sharing, but please don't leave me the only one hanging here.

24K +/tax w/ Best In Class and the 15KBTU A/C. Only other possible option to add is the table-n-chairs dinette; but we don't want that. The eqaul-I-zer hitch will be an additional $700 installed with the adjustable head reciever, ball and pin. Also, the dealer is throwing in 2 wheel chocks, a 10 pack of leveling blocks, and 2 corner levelers.

Now I sort of played two dealers off of eachother back in August; and then again over the last month or so. So I think I did OK, but I could be snowballed on my impression too.

Should I feel vulnerable for mentioning it?

Well I think you did good we both got about the same deal I payed 24,400 + tax with the 15k A/C and best in class. I to did not want the table and chairs. I also got the Reese strait-line hitch with adjustable head, ball and pin and the two slide topper for a $1000.00 installed. I made them give me the wooden inserts for the refrigerator because the one I saw had them when I bought it and the one I got did not so I got them for free. They also gave me $ 425.00 in gift cards to camping world witch I just took off the the hitch and toppers. So over all not bad I have not seen it on the INTERNET for cheaper so I think we got a good deal. good luck with it I can't wait till the spring when I pick it up also I am towing it with a 2010 dodge ram 1500 with a towing rating of 9750 so I hope I have no problems towing it. The campers dry weight on the sticker is 7380 so it will be close I will just watch what i put in it. heres a pic of the dry weight.

What I'm finding is that with the TV, the crew cabs are rated to tow more than any of the other configurations on the same class. At this point I'm partially convinced that at least half of the equation is total GVW of the TV to the weight of the trailer. That combined with a good WD hitch, and an awareness of you rigs ride. A few racecar buddies advised considering a Hellwig rear antisway bar to reduce rear steer of the TV when the trailer is persuaded by offending forces (semi's, wind, etc).

We will be towing with my 2004 Silverado Crew Cab 4x4. It's next to new, only 7k/yr. Just for camping and odds n ends needs.

Hello...We are new to this site. My husband and I are looking into buying our first self contained RV. We use to own at Starcraft 2407 pop-up. We have heard great things on this Laredo and the whole family just loved this one. We are pulling this with our 2006 F-150 Super Crew. It has the 5.4L V8. We are told we can safely haul this as our tow capacity is 8200lbs. The Laredo is 7400lbs dru including the tanks and battery. Have any of you ever pulled this RV or one at this weight.

I have towed one with a 2008 suburban with the 6.0 and 4.10 rear. It pulled it . But you new it was back there. 7400 dry is with out anything in it. And the stuff you put in it adds up quick. Mine scaled at 9550 ready to go. So i upgraded to a f250.Plus down the road we want to upgrade to a fth wheel. Good luck!! We love ours

We think we are going to be purchasing the Laredo 303TG also. We really like the look of the new front cap. I think it's very stylish especially with the LP tanks hidden. What will you be pulling yours with? We have a F-150 Supercew 5.4L. Which the RV place says we will be fine with as long as we get the stablizer and sway bar.

I just bought a 291TG and the dealer told me that in November 2010 the new cap was introduced. Any 2011's built in Aug/Sept/Oct had the old design

Agreed with the above post, anything built in the fall has the new cap. I have a 2011 built in the spring of 2010 and it is the older style front end. Guess I'll just be keeping the new one for a few years and then trading it in

We just picked up our 303TG on Saturday. The Tundra has a rated towing capacity of 10,300 with a GCVW of 16,000. I anticipate being about 1,000# shy of the GCVW once all is said and done. Anyways the camper sure is purty. Seeing we upgrade from a 2011 Jayco 17Z this is huge. The truck handled the tow home well with no apparent signs of stress. I had the Reese Dual Cam Sway/WD installed. As many of you have said... Can't wait for spring!!!!
