New Keystone RV Owner
Just found this site dedicated to Keystone RVs. A couple weeks ago I upgraded from a bumper pull to a Cougar 327RES 5th wheel. Still getting use to all that trailer behind me. Will be working a few more years and then the wife and I plan spend a lot more time in it. Haven't decided yet if we'll do it full time for a while or keep the house and go south for the cold months.
I have a few questions about the 327RES that I'll post later. Thought this would be the perfect place to get some answers from folks familiar with keystone RVs.
Looking forward to meeting you all.

to the forum and congrats on the 327, great floor plan, we use to own one but the DW wanted more space, go figure, what the DW wants the DW gets, lol..You will enjoy the floor plan and towing a 5ver. When you have time, fire away with questions, there are plenty of Cougar here to help, Happy Campin...

I received a quick disconnect coiled up blue hose for the outdoor shower, but mine is located in the side compartment where the water hose/cable tv connect. Come to think of it, I don't think I ever saw a shower head though. I needed the shower hose connected to get rv antifreeze through the faucet when I winterized it. Yours come with the shower head?
Mine is sort of a 2014-2015 hybrid, got some of the things changing for the 2015 like the floor, cabinets, awning, "porch" lights. Maybe they moved the outside shower too.

Our 2014 279RK came with the coiled hose, but no shower head. You have to purchase one. Our 1996 Nash came with the attachment. Not sure why Cougar doesn't include one, as well.
They are pretty inexpensive (could translate to cheaply made, throw away). Here's one from Camping World. Can't vouch for the quality as we haven't purchased one yet.

I'm sure there are others available. Try the search function on the forum or search the Internet. I believe you want one intended for exterior use.
Hope this helps.

I talked to the dealer today and was told they don't come with one. Which is fine since I've never used an outside shower. Dealer told me you can connect the hose to the shower faucet and the other end to the black tank flush. Flushes the black tank while emptying the fresh water tank.

Welcome to the forum, we own a 2011 327res . We love the floor plan. Ask your questions we'll help . My camper has the blue coiled hose, I bought a mutihead spray nozzle. But to be honest I have never used it.

By multi-head spray nozzle, do you mean the "garden variety"? If so, I like that idea. I have one I use in our garden. Think I'll give it a try.
Thanks for the tip.

The outdoor shower is the ONLY way to hose off the dogs after a romp on the beach. Glad our Cougar came with the shower head. I do wish, though, that there was a dedicated space to roll it into. This one just shoves back into the cabinet under the sink vanity. I keep a small wastebasket under there to corral the hose so it doesn't knock over the rest of the things that go under the sink.

Have never used an outside shower but make sense for a dog full of sand. I'll pick up one of those sprayers in case something comes up.
The floorplan sold my wife and I on the 327. Looking forward to many trips with it.
Thanks for all the replies. Learned a lot already reading old threads.

My wife and I have one season under our belts with our new 29.6 RL Laredo. We are pulling it with our F150 4x4 6 cyl Eco-boost engine. We have one long 2000 mile trip also under us. The truck pulls great , matter of fact. We were passing everyone in the mountains. I am looking for help with maintenance and repairs should they come up. We like our Laredo but not enough room in living are. We plan to pick up a 5th wheel toy hauler with a 3/4 ton ford in front of it.
YEE HAW!!!!!
