Help With Buying Propane Hoses

I need to replace my propane hoses. Do I just need to buy a pig tail like this http://www.amazon.com/Camco-59053-Ta...v+propane+hose

Or do I need to buy other fittings to go between the pig tail and the regulator?

Do I just use teflon tape on the threads?

SHould be a direct connect. Reuse other fittings if installed.Don't use regular tape, it must be rated for gas or get a tube of compound for gas to apply to the threads that aren't flared fittings. Make sure you get the right length.

When I replaced one of our propane 'pig tails' due to bad internal safety valve, I just replaced the pigtail (purchased from CW). If all of the other components are in good condition, you shouldn't have to replace anything else. Be sure to use the yellow teflon tape. The white tape will degrade and leak when used on gas lines.
