Hello from Southern Illinois

We just purchased our 2012 cougar 318 SAB. In April We pull it with a ford 250 Super Duty with a Diesel Engine, we usually only pull it 40 miles a year. We traded in our 2006 Springdale. We camp on a permanent site we've had for the past 18 seasons...our camping season usually begins inApril, and we've camped every year thru Halloween, and one year up past Thanksgiving Weekend. This is every weekend, the only thing that detours us is the fact we camp on the Wabash River, and wet seasons like this occasionally get us...we do a lot of checking on river stages and forecasts we have pulled out twice this year and had to head to higher ground...that's just part of camping on the river.

Hello tledfh and welcome to the forums! I am familar with the area you are talking about on the Wabash! I looked at your profile and I was born and raised in Bridgeport, IL. My family now lives in the Cincinnati Ohio area but we get back often to Vincennes, Evansville, and Oaktaown, IN area to visit family and friends.

There is a wealth of knowledge on this forum and if you have any questions, I am sure someone here can help you! Good luck, thanks for joining, and enjoy your new Cougar!!!
