to the forum and we are also looking forward to reading your posts! You'll enjoy your new Hideout and camping in the PNW. We spend quite a bit of our camping time in your area and plan to continue to visit and camp there.

TandE Lots of good info on the forum. We bought our 13 Alpine 3555rl in Jan of 2013 and have been camping on the Oregon and California coasts. We are currently in Sonora CA and heading for home on the 1st of Apr. Love the new Alpine and feel very fortunate to have had zero problems at this point. We will be camping in Washington this summer. Good luck and contact us if know about some of the campgrounds in the PNW.

Thanks for the welcome guys! I can't wait to use this as we have always tent camped till last summer we got an old truck camper but it was a tad bit small and with going to New Mexico this June with the dog and possible heat we needed a/c. Just sucks that the weather is nice and I have to work and on 3rd shift for that matter for the next 3 weeks.
Rclark- I will definitely report on some campgrounds we visit. Although we have usually stayed in tents most of the places we have stayed do not have hook ups at all. Like one I really enjoyed was colonial creek campground down highway 20 by diablo lake. Beautiful place and quite a few hiking trails. Also they have a ranger program almost every night that they talk about the forest and animals at with a different subject each night. Geared mostly towards kids but still was a fun experience. It is a first come first serve so I recommend going on a Wednesday or a Thursday and staying through the weekend it fill up quick especially if it is nice out. And so you can get a spot to fit a trailer in comfortably.
I have hear that deception pass campground is nice too. But can get kinda muddy if wet from what my parents said. We are going there for our shakedown in 3 weeks most likely as long as we can still get back to our trailer late at night after the drive in ( the blue fox drive in) at 12 or 1 in the am. I have heard they lock the gate but am not sure on that. You do need a discover pass to go to this park though.
Also grandy creek koa is a nice place and close to mt. Baker national rec area where you can hike up the mountain for some fantastic views. Although to hike up there I would wait till late July or August as the snow can still be around.
Sorry for rambling but if you have questions please ask I will be glad to help. And if you ask and I don't respond send me a PM saying hey look at "x" topic and I will go check it out.
Happy camping!

If your camped at Deception pass state park campground you don't need a discover pass your camp fee includes the day pass to the state park as long as your camping there.

Thanks for this info I was wondering how that worked and sure enough if I would have read a little more I would have found out. I purchase one every year though because some places I fish at you have to have the discover pass.
All these passes and permits get confusing sometimes.
