You are talking about a 14,000 lb. RV with a “dry” pin weight of 2,500 lbs. and a realistic loaded pin weight of about 3,250. Add weight of hitch, truck accessories, people, cargo, etc and you are well into 1-ton truck territory. Be careful though, a 1-ton diesel although better suited to hauling larger loads will typically have less weight capacity than a comparable gas truck. You will need a truck with a minimum cargo/loading sticker rating of 4,000 lbs. plus
