No 12-volt power to stabilizers, slide-out or awning

During our camping trip last week, there was no 12-volt (battery) power to the stabilizers, slide-out and awning. The tongue jack had power. All worked when 7-pin plug was plugged into tow vehicle. I checked and replaced the fuse at the front of the RV but stabilizers, slide-out and awning would not move. Any suggestions on what is happening? Basement light and interior lights operate on battery.

It sounds like your battery is not connected into the system. Does the 12 volt lighting work when you're connected to shore power, but doesn't when not? That would be a good indication that your battery isn't connected. The reason that your stabilizers etc. work when you're connected the truck is because the truck battery is supplying the load. I attached an DC electrical drawing that I made up for our 5vr. It should give you an idea of the connections. I suspect the connection between the battery and your converter is missing.

Hi George, Thank you for the reply. I’ll check the camper for a disconnect. The TT is 11 years old so a disconnect is present. The lights work when connected to shore power and when it is not. -JW
