Propane pigtails

Have a Mr. Heater 2 stage auto changeover regulator (model 6020). Looking to replace my cracked propane hoses (model GHA7). Seems I have 1/4” male NPT. Seeing a lot of 1/4” inverted male flare. Also, my current pigtails have a check valve in the 1/4” end. Most I see online don’t. Is there supposed to be an adapter on the regulator from NPT to inverted flare? Suggestions?

Most pigtails are inverted flare, and yes there is an adaptor to make the change. The safety shutoff is built into the pigtails at the cylinder end.
