Another Slide room Question

Hi All - I have a 2013 318sab fifth wheel trailer. I have downloaded the manual from Lippert for the main slide but it doesn't talk about my problem. The slide works fine but the problem is the black insulation paper that covers the plywood floor on the bottom it is leaving black marks on the main room carpet. It appears there is a bottom bar the full length of the slide room that it slides on and it is to low. There are the adjustments to center the room raise the opening end up and down but not to lift the leading edge of the room. Does anyone know if adjusting the tilt angle from the open end will lift the inner floor? Any insight to fix it. Out of warranty
Thanks

I know this is after the fact, but wondering if you figured out what was leaving the black marks! I have a 2012 Avalanche 220RE and it leaves awful black marks on my carpet when we take the slide out after traveling.

I put a vinyl floor in my Cougar after removing the carpet in the cabin. First time I pulled the slide in, it scuffed the floor. I cut FOUR 1/4" plywood strips about 6" wide and about 3' long and pull the slide in about 18" then put the strips under the slide to avoid more scuffing. Not elegant but it works. I couildn't figure out a great way to remove the carpet IN the slide as it covers the junction between cabin and slide and there isn't a great way to install vinyl over that junction...

You can lower the slide out by 1/4” increments until it stops dragging the floor. That will raise the front edge when the slide is retracted. Keystone designs the slides to slide on the carpet keep the underside clean to help with the black marks.

Depends on the type of slide mechanism.
