Part Question
Hi,
2017 Keystone Sprinter Campfire edition 29FK
I have determined that a part attached to my camper has a hairline crack in it and now it leaks fresh water. I have attached pictures to show where the part is located and what it is. Any assistance to what it is and if it is easy to remove and replace....

Sorry, but I can’t tell what the pics are of and what is leaking. Maybe provide more detailed info, is it the water line you’re talking about?

hi, it is not the water line that is leaking. I did all the troubleshooting with that. The waterline attaches to the black device in the picture. I'm trying to figure out what this device is and if it's easy to replace.

The black device in the second picture is what the fresh water line screws onto. The first picture depicts the cabinet in the bathroom and in the bottom of the cabinet, you remove a panel and the black device is within that. BTW, I cannot access this device from the other side.

I don't know why there would be a hose connection inside a cabinet in the bathroom unless it's for winterizing the water system. Do the wires going thru that panel connect to the water pump?

I'm not sure why either, but when I am using the fresh water tank, it leaks live a sieve. There is a wire there but not sure where it goes.....I'm taking it to a repair place on Friday...not really wanting to spend money at an RV repair place that will charge me hundreds and thousands of dollars.

Some sort of one-way in-line water valve?

I don't recognize anything in the two pics, but let me ask: is there any chance the plastic device is the one-way check valve for the black tank flush system?

I really don't know, that is a good question and thought. The other side of the device is not on the outside of the camper. It is like on an inner bulkhead....but the check valve thought makes sense... The fresh water line, when it is attached, leads below. it is filled with water when the water pump is energized.....

What does the water line in the cabinet attach to (sink, toilet, shower)? I am guessing that it is the backflow preventer for the black tank flush. But that is just a guess...

I would look in the bottom of that cabinet and see if the bottom shelf can be removed. I'm guessing your not the original owner and. That looks like someone scabbed something together there. None of that looks factory and you need to find out what's behind that panel.
