If the Dodgers lose tonight against the Padres, the Dodgers are out. Braves lost today so they are out.

Thanks for the clarification, I dont watch much sports and definitely NOT the Dodgers.

The Dodgers and the Braves were/are THE TEAMS to beat in the NL. If the Dodgers go under tonight it is a major shock wave in real Baseball. By that I mean National League, where the pitcher has to bat too

Not anymore....National League uses the DH also.

Are these hockey teams or ?? So many team name changes to stay "correct" I lose track....and focus.

Yeah, I have really strayed away from professional sports to me it's just not the same as it was growing up as a kid.

All the new rules and "marketing" has tainted the purist aspect of competition.

I haven't watched any of them in years, HOWEVER, my kids got me back to rooting for the Dodgers this year.

I saw my first game when they played at the LA Coliseum before they built Chavas Ravine where they play today.

I knew better
