2400 pull rite hitch ??

I am thinking about getting a pull rite super light 2400 hitch to replace a super 5th wheel hitch by pull rite. Thinking I can get more turning angle.
My truck is a 2500 HD with 6'5" bed. I just ordered a 29RLI 5th wheel cougar. If anyone is using this hitch what turning angle can you get at the most. Yes I have owned several RV's . I had a super glide pull rite in the past but wanted to go super light if turning angle is good. ??

You might get marginally more turning radius but the larger issue is the frame warranty of your trailer. You should call Keystone to find out from the horses mouth but they have posted that any hitches with pin adapters could void the frame warranty. The hitch will work great, but the warranty is at risk. Just a heads up…

Here is a link to a discussion about the Keystone letter and Lippert's decision to not warrant the Andersen (which it did previously). The Andersen and Reese Goose Box were the only non traditional 5th wheel hitches "authorized" for use on a Keystone trailer until Lippert "unauthorized" the Andersen meaning there were no non traditional 5th wheel hitches authorized on a Lippert frame other than the Reese Goose Box. Note that the Goose Box is now owned by Lippert giving them a financial incentive to remove the competition.

Call Keystone 1st and possibly Lippert if the answer is vague. If they provide a definitive answer please post back for the education of the forum.

Edit: Corrected the word not (auto correct?) to now when describing Lippert's ownership of the Reese Goose Box.

I would ask for clarification in writing. No argument down the road.

I switched from a PullRite 2600 single point (gooseneck ball) to the Reese Goosebox. I kept having slamming issues with the PullRite. Every stop it slammed, stopping and starting. I first thought it was caused by failure of the MorRyde rubber block in the pinbox. Examined the rubber block, looked OK. Replaced the 18,000# rubber block with a 21,000# block. No difference.
Replaced that with the Reese Goosebox. Problem solved. ZERO slamming.
I think the slamming was caused by tolerance stack up in the PullRite. There are too many connection points with tolerances that add up to too much.
I am happy with the Goosebox but it does have some issues. Sometimes i can get the hitch right on top of the ball, other times it may take several tries. Also, I am right on the 4,000# pin capacity. This is the most pin capacity they make.
I sometimes wish I had bought a GEN-Y.

warranty lci frame & hitches

I called keystone and sk about warranty if put adapter on rv hitch. They referred me to lci. lci said they would only warranty frame if standard hitch is used in the truck. No adapters can be attached to rv hitch.

Yes, this is what they've gone to. They do honor the Reese Goose Box which in effect is an adapter but it's the entire pinbox. Potato, patata - LCI builds the frames, owns the Reese Goose Box and calls the shots for warranty.
