E-track mounting

I have a Raptor 3612DS and want to mount the E-track. Is there anything in the garage that I might hit with a #10/12 (1 1/4") wood screw? How are the floor joists layed out? I am ***uming the joist are aluminum so I would rather avoid them with a wood screw. I am not concerned about major weight as I will only be tying down empty dog crates and relatively light dog gear.

Have you resolved this? For my 3612 I used 1 inch lag screws every 2 holes and never had a problem hitting anything, I was tying down motorcycles and wanted to make sure that they would not come loose. The floor is made up of 3/4 inch wood in the garage and I do not see what harm using a little longer screw would do since there is not really anything back there you can hit. Let me know if you ahve any other questions or want any pictures of how I mounted mine.

That's my next project with my rig. Dealer says use 3/4" sheetmetal screws as to not go through the flooring.
