Slide motor

HydraGear slide unit has bad motor. Anyone know of source for new motor? cmsystemsinc.net web site listed in Instruction Manual is no good. Unit is on '03 Montana 3295RK. Thermal CB trips when large slides move, have to wait 10 seconds for CB to reset then move slide again till all in or out.

Not sure if its a lipert pump or not but sure looks like the same pump here?
Another option is check your ground connections. Good luck hope you can find what your looking for.

Problem is motor, pulling far to much current when moving main slides. How to find replacement unit is question.

You could always call a Keystone dealership and see if they can order it? Spendy I know but if you can't find it online then that may be the only way to go.

I am hoping someone here will be able to offer more information on what your looking for.

It's probably too late but you may be able to take the motor out, have it rebuilt at a local electric motor repair shop. Many times, it's just a simple brush replacement that's needed and it can be repaired for pennies on the dollar as compared to buying a new motor. A way to insure you NEVER have a proble again would be to have the old one repaired as a backup just in case.... That way, the new one will last forever LOL Seems to be my luck anyway.....

Lightbulb Slide System Motor

Had a similar problem on a former 5ver I owned which was a 2002 Forest River Cedar Creek. Checked ground connections, relays, hydraulic fluid levels, and inspected all lines and fittings for tightness and/or leaks. Found that the largest of the three slides had come out of adjustment and was hanging-up just enough to put a strain on the motor which then resulted in too much current draw and caused the relay to trip. The relay had an auto-matic reset function so after 10 seconds we were good to go and the slide would move another 3 or 4 inches before tripping the relay again. Adjusted and lubed the slide-out and problem was resolved. Just another possibility which might be of assistance in your case or in the future when others experience a similar problem.
