2014 31BHPR - 2nd A/C Addition

We are going to need to add the 2nd a/c unit to our trailer, we called Keystone and they say it’s only wired/ducted for a single unit. Anyone have experience adding a 2nd unit, if so, where does the 2nd unit go? Seeing photos online show a unit on the roof in the rear but I don’t have a skylight/vent there. I do have one above the master bed.

The second AC unit it usually in the bedroom. The vent above the bed is removed and the roof unit sits over that hole. If your not prewired for a send air then you need to figure out how to get 110VAC to it. If your unit has 30A shore cord then you’ll. Need to either upgrade to 50A or run a dedicated circuit.

Once you get the power taken care of, you can install a non ducted unit with plenum controls.

This is one of the better videos I've seen for adding a 2nd AC unit to a 30A RV if you have to add one.
