Cracked vent cap/cover

I have two cracked plastic vent covers. These crank out to vent fresh air into the trailer. Can I replace them or do I need to take it to an RV repair service center?
I have not been able to find them in the catalog I have nor can I find out how much they will cost.
Thanks for any help you can give.

Welcome to the forum Okiedokie,

Plastic vent caps might be available at larger RV dealers (who sell supplies) OR you can buy/order them from places like Camping World.

http://www.campingworld.com/shopping...vent-caps/1436

They come in different colors, but make sure that the 'hinged' area (on the ones you buy) match your current vent caps.

Hope this helps,
Terri, the Chevy co-pilot

As you can see from the CW catalog site posted here, there are 3 different styles of replacement caps listed. There are at least that many more available and if you consider all the "outdated styles" there's probably at least 20 different choices. Some of these are no longer available which means you "may" have to replace the entire vent. I'd suggest taking one of the vent caps off your existing vent, go to a local RV dealer and see what he has available. You may not be able to find replacement caps for your vent. If you aren't sure what you need, I'd not suggest ordering from CW. The shipping and return shipping would make the cost to you more expensive than buying locally.
