Angry Hot Water Heater Issue 2012 Outback 230RS

Does anyone have issues getting the hot water heater to light via gas???? Hi.....We have a new 2012 230RS Outback. When you turn the interior switch on to the hot water heater, it goes through its series of clicks outside but does not light. You can manually light it outside to run it on propane, but should not have to go this route, after all, that's what the interior switch and auto light is for. When you finally manually light it, it heats water fine, same as on electric. We've had it back to the dealer and they replaced the ignitor....then took the RV to Albuquerque and the hot water heater would not light. Just took it back again to the dealer who said they cleaned it and would work. Surprise, got it home and it still doesn't light.

Anyone else having this issue????
