Security Light Won't Turn Off

I have a 2010 copper canyon 30 foot fifth wheel, my security light stays on all the time with the switch off; unhooked the battery and still on ,unhook shore line to the unit and it went out, any ideas?

I believe the light would stay on with the battery disconnected because you were still on shore power. The light was powered from the converter which was running on shore power.
We have our entrance light on both the remote and a switch. If it is turned on with the remote it has to be turned off with the remote. Hope this helps

I believe shore power runs the converter... which provides power to charge battery(s). This charging voltage is also delivered to rest of 12 v system.
