TV over mantel mount
Our TV is in a cabinet box with a small cabinet on either side. This is above a window above our dinette. So, watching it means looking up at an angle. I'm looking at changing the current mount to an over the mantel type to put the TV out and down. I'm wondering what construction of the wall is like. Is it built up only where the current mount is? Another option might be to put some wood across the cabinet box and mount it to that.
Has anyone installed a mount like this?
