It might help to have a picture taken... "black plastic thing"? I was inclined to tell you to hit it with a baseball bat if it opened its eyes but then I figured if it was plastic it probably wasn't going to... oh never mind. When you reply, look under the dialog box and you will see the MANAGE ATTACHMENTS button. Send the image to your computer and then you will be able to scroll to the image like a file manager and upload after selecting. Welcome!

WAG- if it’s round, has slits in it I bet it’s a remote thermister for the HVAC.

What do if we guess it correctly? Can we buy a vowel? Or a shape (round, oval, square, rectangle, triangle, or....)?

I’m certainly glad our new member has a great sense of humor!
Y’all can be insufferable…
“Steve, I’m going to guess it’s a June bug!”
Dagwood, welcome to the forum. This is how old men, and sometimes women, entertain themselves until the season opens. We can’t help ourselves.

Not exactly "RV related", but June bugs are a major reason I wear a helmet when riding... One time, getting hit "between the eyes" by a June bug at 60 MPH is a "lesson most never forget"...

Hmmm, Maybe a motorcycle is a "RV" in some fashion, eh ???

Hey Chuck, do you do mulch at all ???

Man have you seen the prices this year ??? WOW, I'm thinking I'll start making my own. I've got a "chipper/shredder" just sitting there, in the pole barn and probably 50 poplar trees I need to cut down by the lake.... Hmmmm

I would have made an attempt at guessing but our puppy (still teething @ 11 months of age) ate my magic magic ball. Couldn't remember where I put the Ouiji Board, but that's what happens with age. Anyway good thing Chuck is still "chucking " along.

My transition to a helmet (with face shield back in the day) came from a black beetle hitting me in the head and lodging inside the corner of my eye. I thought I had been blinded, almost lost the bike, voiced a few choice thoughts and got to the side of the road. DW had been following me on her bike and came to see what was wrong...and there was that stupid beetle sticking in there. She managed to get it out, my eye quit running and I could see (thank goodness). I took vengeance out on the beetle (sorry beetle), continued on my way and bought a helmet with shield at the next bike shop we crossed - wore it from then on.

Back in the seventies and early eighties, before Ca had a helmet law I lived in Tracy and worked at Oakland Airport painting commercial aircraft. I rode a 1979 Kawasaki KZ1000 MachII. I could make the trip including a stop for gas in 24 minutes.

In the winter we had an EXTREMELY dense fog known as Tule fog, on those days I had to take my full face helmet off because my face shield would fog up. It wasnt what I called exciting.

I'm not in my RBS22 right now, but I think it might be the propane leak sensor?
