springdale 260bh empty waterheater

Hello, just purchased this trailer and have the water full, water pressure in my trailer, but I don't have anything when i open the hotwater tank release valve. First time trailer owner so I'm not sure if I'm missing something, I also haven't been able to find the bypass valve, any help is appreciated. thanks.

Welcome to the forum

Most likely the bypass valve is in the winterize position. You need to access the back side of the water heater, probably by removing a panel. You may have a single valve or 3 valves.

Water will flow in the direction of the handle, so it shouldn’t be too difficult to figure out. If you turned the water heater on electric, you may have burnt out the element. It I have seen one survive a “dry tank”.

We have a 2600BH. The panel on ours is under the bottom bunk. Not hard to access
