Colorado

I had a friend deliver my 38FQ to a location where it is going to stay. It was towed with a Dodge Ram. I need to move the trailer approx 8 feet to replace the boards under the wheels. So I was wondering can I do this with my 2020 Colorado without damage to the rear suspension. I will only pull it forward and then back it into place. Thank you

why not rent a truck from home depot or uhaul for a couple of hours or ask a neighbor to help if your concerned…or you could carefully jack up one side of the trailer at a time and slide the boards out

While Brian has a very good idea, spec's available on the internet show the Colorado to be fully in the envelope weight-wise. Tongue weight on the RV is about 900-1000 pounds and cargo capacity of the Colorado is about 1400-1500 pounds.
While I wouldn't pull the RV full time with the Colorado, I would not hesitate to pull it back and forth to replace the boards. Keep in mind you will need a 2-5/16 ball on your hitch, not the 2 inch on there right now.
Also keep in mind that your truck's hitch is NOT rated to tow that kind of weight, so don't make this a habit.

If the trailer will there forever maybe focus your efforts on jacking it up, removing the wheels, and leveling it on concrete blocks.

We purchased (brand new) a 2019 Chevy Colorado and one of the ideas I had was to use it to tool my Outback travel trailer around the drive way (I tow it with a 3500 diesel dually long bed crew cab, monster of a truck). So using the small truck to move around the drive way for a tighter fit was something I was hoping for.

So, shortly after getting the truck I attached the weight distribution hitch on the Colorado and proceeded to hitch up.

Well, as the weight of the trailer started resting on ball of the hitch, the Colorado started squatting on the rear. It went down, down, down until the hitch itself was against the asphalt drive way and couldn't squat any more. Meanwhile, the trailer STILL was not low enough for the coupler to catch on the ball. In other words, the truck bottomed out before I could even hitch.

Well, that dream was shattered. I never tried it again. No need to.

But that Colorado works very, very nice with my 500 pound utility trailer.
