Trouble shooting Landing Gear
last time I hooked up my front landing gear on my copper canyon went up just fine and when I unhooked later, it wouldn't work at all. Power was supplied at both times and still doesn't work, is there anything out there that might suggest the motor is dead or that there might just be a switch problem? haven't really looked into it yet since it hasn't bee too warm, so not sure if there is a fuse between the motor and switch or what could be causing it not to work....Arm got tired quick cranking it up manually....

The problem could be that the 30A inline fuse has blown. On our Cougar, the fuse is located inside the coiled, plastic wire wrap about a foot or so from the battery. Try replacing the fuse to see if this solves the issue.
I'd suggest replacing that fuse with a self-setting breaker of the same amperage. By so doing, it will help eliminate the fuse blowing and will be easier to reset.
If the fuse continues to blow after installing the breaker, the landing gear itself might be binding causing the motor to overload.
When raising and lowering the landing gear, be careful not to overextend the travel or the fuse will blow. I have painted a "danger stripe" and a "Stop stripe" with orange and red paint respectively to indicate when I am getting close to the point of overextension and the place where I need to release the switch and stop.

also the landing gear needs to be greased in the gear box on top of the landing gear.

OK tried looking for a fuse to landing gear motor, looked thru all wire wraps. 2010 Montana 2955 any ideas?

I can't tell you for certain that it's in the same location, but I'll describe where it is on my 2011 Springdale and on my 2014 Cougar. If you face the trailer, open the front compartment, center yourself between the landing gear, stick your head into the front compartment (directly in the center) and raise your head (looking toward the rear of the trailer) as soon as the back of your head touches the front wall the fuse should be what your head hits..... In other words, it's along the rear face of the front wall, directly over the front compartment door. Good Luck and HAPPY HUNTING !!!!!

Thanks for quick reply. I looked and have no wiring running across that compartment. After check motor again I saw a crack in the gear housing, so now looking for new motor gear box assembly. Any idea where I can find one?

Your picture shows that your trailer has a hydraulic pump, so I'd guess that the trailer has hydraulic (not electric) landing gear, so there is no "wiring loom" above your door. (sorry for the mis-information).
If you look at the picture you posted, you'll see two 12 volt circuit breakers in the lower left corner of the picture. They are covered by a red rubber "snap-on" cover. That is the "fusing" for your hydraulic pump and is the only protection for the pump. If you don't have power, chances are one of those two circuit breakers is probably defective. They can be purchased at any RV parts center/dealer service center and also at many auto parts store. Most are 30 amps, but some larger trailers have 40 or even 50 amp breakers, so remove the cover and look at the information stamped on the breaker to be sure you're buying the correct amperage replacement.
There may be (probably is) wiring to a solenoid on the landing gear hydraulics to control the up/down pressure to the hydraulic motor. That may not be fused, but if there is a fuse in that solenoid line, it would look like the attached photo. If there is a fuse, it may not be located "next to the solenoid" but may be on the other side of a panel, etc. Follow the wiring from the landing gear back to the battery/control panel. If there's a fuse, it'll be in the red wire not the white one.

Thanks for the help. The landing gear are electric, I assume the hydraulics are for the slide outs. Motor seems to be bad and gear box assembly is cracked and leaking, looking for new one.
