Furrion complaint: Oven/cooktop

Much to Mama’s dismay, the Furrion brand oven in the ‘top class’ Jayco Eagle we have in Wisconsin has a baking temperature range STARTING at 350 degrees. We had never heard of such nonsense. There are any number of times we might like to start a roast at 275 or so for a period and then finish off higher.
And to top that off, we don’t have the baking oven option on our microwave.
I’m not sure if this is going to be an $800 modification yet or not.

We just ordered a GE Profile from Camping World because of similar issues with the junk OEM Furrion. Oh it's pretty etc, just don't try and depend on the oven for any baking...

For what it’s worth, when we use our over set to 350° it has an actual temperature closer to 260°. I have since calibrated the thermostat and it maintains temperature as indicated on the dial. If I want a lower temp, I just set it somewhere less than the 350° on the dial and it holds a lower temperature

We think alike, my wife used an oven thermometer and did the same thing. Unfortunately, consistency / repeatability doesn't seem to reside within this Furrion range...

My Alpine 3650RL has some Furrion left in it. That is the crap that I have not replaced with better quality stuff, yet. Yet. Furrion is bottom entry level quality, let's be nice and say "stuff". Any other brand is better.

Sometimes I wonder why the rv builders don't offer an appliance "upgrade" package. I for one would be interested in something like that. But NOPE, cheap is cheaper to sell.
