MONTANA Warranty Problems

Keystone states this is not a defect. Dealer (Camping World) says a new roof should be approved. Keystone denied.

Was it there when you purchased the RV? Regardless, I would rather the bubble be taken out and glued down rather than a new roof. An aftermarket roofing job might not look as good as the original.

I suspect they said it was a "cosmetic" defect?

Having just bought a 3121rl have been on top of a few roofs. The membrane is not glued down, only in certain areas. The material does shift and yes their will be small areas of creases. The material is very strong and yes it bothers me also. I have notice in temp fluctuations it does shift. Last unit I had did not have this type of roof material and slayed down differently. I'm new to Keystone Units and how their materials are, good luck.

Keep your pics and take more, often. I suspect Keystone will deny until it tears or lifts off more.

I’m not aware of any manufacturer that “spot” glues the membrane. The entire surface is glued down as far as I know, and it looks like the factory didn’t lay the membrane down correctly. Having done some roofs 30-40 feet long, I can say it’s not easy to get it all flat.

Once again, keep an eye on it and take pics with a date stamp.
