Might help if you post what vehicle you plan to tow it with, that will greatly determine how much RV you're limited to.
Regardless of what your truck literature states, your truck dealer may have told you or what the RV dealer WILL tell you, trucks do have limits, you may not be able to "tow anything on their lot".
By posting your vehicle here the weight police can keep you from making the same mistake that some have made before you by telling you where to find & calculate the numbers you'll need to choose wisely.
You are doing right! Rather than buy both mismatched truck/RV then ask, buy one then match it to a good fit.
