Replaced the medicine cabinet

We didn't care for the old cabinet that had the cheap plastic fixed shelves so I put in a new cabinet today. Much nicer and more room inside.

Very nice!!
The one in our Hideout is plastic as well.
This looks like a decent improvement.

Looks great. Where did you buy the new cabinet? What is it made of? How much heavier is it compared to the old plastic one?
Thanks

Got it at Lowes, I don't have the box anymore. I should have listed the model number. It wasn't much heavier, the mirror glass is what weighs the most.

My DW has been griping she can't see anything but her forehead in ours. It's attached at the ceiling. I've been hesitant to lower it, assuming it depended on the ceiling screws bearing some of the weight... but seeing what you've done here, perhaps I should take the plunge and just rely on the wall screws. We certainly don't need to install a bigger one, as interior capacity isn't our issue... though a TP shelf "on top" would be a nice space-saver, seeing that half our under-sink cabinet is blocked for shore cable storage and the rest is full of plumbing interference.
