Gray and black water valve

I seem to have a problem with water coming out before I pull the lever. I took both valves off to check them but they both seem to be working while off. Please help! I have a passport ultra lite grand touring 2920bh 2018

An extra terminal valve on the end of your drain will give you extra insurance from the removal of the drain cap.

If you took the valves apart, did you inspect the flanges for excess glue? That’s a common problem with new units from the factory. We won’t put “used” seals back in, if we take a valve apart it gets new seals even if the trailer is brand new.

I have to wonder if that tank could have plastic cuttings interfering with the dump seal. I had plenty of them in the fresh tank and mucking-up the FloJet water pump. Next time I buy a trailer, I will be thoroughly rinsing all tanks to try and rid them from plastic cuttings.

If the dealership does a proper PDI and the tech doing it actually “does it”, all those issues should be fixed before the buyer ever gets it.....just sayin

If we were not on the other side of the country I would look at buying my next camper from the dealership you are at with a stipulation that you do the PDI.

Thanks for the vote of confidence. When a PDI is done you sign your name on a form. Years of filling out legal documents taught me to “DO what you said you did”.
