Anyone own this trailer or have any comments on it? Looks like a pretty nice trailer.

Wife and I have a 2012 Cougar, 24RKSWE, the difference to your model is the bathroom has been changed and its location, the kitchen area and bedroom are the same as is the exterior, though the SABWE has the updated colors.

We are going on our 4th season with this trailer and have found it is a perfect match for the two of us. Towing the trailer is no problem with our Tundra; it handles very well causing no sway. No defects have surfaced, all of the major components of the trailer work. The large dinette window works quite well to view your camp sight. Heating and cooling the trailer is no problem with the built in ductwork. The electric awning and slide work great and with the remote you can be outside and work both, makes set up easy. Storage space is quite good; we stay out generally 6 to 7 nights each trip and have room to spare.

The tanks in the trailer as well as the LP tanks would give the cold camper amble time to be out in the wild if you wished. We camp at State and County parks that do not have on sight dumps available so the size of the Black and Gray tanks was important to us. If you have specific question please send to me on the privet message, also see my pictures under my name. Good luck and good camping.

Thanks

Thanks for the reply. Like hearing good things like this when I'm shopping. The dealer also has a RKSWE model which looks like only thing different is the bathroom config and extra pantry storage in the SAB

24rkswe

I was considering the SAW but decided on the 24 RKSWE because you get another window in the 24RKSWE in the slide out and a bigger closet and drawers in the 24 RKSWE. Also my wife likes that the sink is outside the bathroom especially if I need to read the newspaper if you know what I mean.

We have a 2013 24RKSWE and couldn't be happier with it.
Two seasons of travel including a 5 week trip to Colorado this past Summer
and it fits the Wife and I as well as our two larger dogs very well.

Very few problems with the trailer but we have done a fair number of upgrades and additions to the trailer to make it work better for us.

Happy travlin

We have the same trailer as buzzcop63 and a Tundra 5.7 with tow package. We love it. We did change out the booth dinette for a table and 2 chairs which gave us more room and flexibility. The booth seating was uncomfortable, the storage underneath not very useful and the table wobbled all the time.

tks

Thanks for the comments everyone. Went and looked at both models this weekend and we like the SAB model over the RKS. Just need to see if theyll haggle with the price a little more. lol Times are slow so maybe theyll come down a little more. went in late saturday afternoon and he said I had been the only customer so far that weekend.
