Checking In From SO CA

Hello all! We are avid campers and we currently own a 2018 Bullet 257RSSWE that we tow with a 2009 Sierra 2500 HD SLE (6.6L/Alison). Our first trailer was an old 60's Montgomery Ward Tent Trailer (like the one pictured below) witch was nothing more than a bed and canvas tent. It had been passed throughout the family and finally made it to me. As a young couple we loved it. It was so light we could tow it with anything short of a bicycle. Then we inherited a Jayco tent trailer; what a step up that was. Now we had a sink, a stove and a refrigerator! Man we were glamping. After all that we finally upgraded to an 18' Salem Cruise Lite and now the Bullet -- movin' on up!

Anyway, we have been far and wide throughout CA only. There's so much to do and see here (beach, mountains, desert) and all can be done in the same day if you're willing. We typically make 4 to 6 trips per year ranging between 2 and 7 nights. This year though, we finally accumulated enough vacation to take a trip outside of the state with the trailer. This summer we're heading for MT Rushmore and everything else we can do in the Black Hills for six days! I cant wait!!

Welcome to the forum! Thanks for sharing the pictures, that’s a great evolution of trailers.

Sounds like a fun trip. One day we'll take the kids up to the bad lands. Welcome to the forum from SE Texas.
