Slide Out

Have a 2003 Sprinter HP 305 that has a problem with the hydraulic slides. When extending or retracting the slides the 50amp resettable breaker pops. Have to wait a few seconds then it works again for a few seconds than pops again. Have cleaned and checked all connections, ground, power, replaced slide sitch and breaker and battery fully charged. Motor does not get hot so lost to what may be the problem. Have bypassed breaker and all is good both ways. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

Older Keystone units had too small of breaker. That hydraulic Pump can actually draw up to 80 amps or so under load. The fix Keystone did for Montana owners with that problem was to add a second breaker in parallel. We started to have problems with our Previous Montana and did the breaker up grade and never had another problem.

Dual Breakers

Thanks for the info on putting in a second breaker. If the installed one fails again than a double breaker it is.
